Transport services coordination

Box Back will facilitate the customers transportation needs and provides the link between the cargo receiver and the transporter. We have a well-established resource pool for this activity due to our daily and direct interaction with the transporters. Reliability of this service is of primary concern including a continuous monitoring of the delivery progress. The ultimate goal is to deliver the goods and return the empty containers within the agreed deadlines avoiding any additional costs and penalties to the cargo receivers

Cargo monitoring and control

We are the customers eyes and ears on the movement of their cargo via the SGR Freight service. We will monitor and report the status of their containers , ensuring that they are well accounted for, from the time of loading in Mombasa to the delivery out of the Inland Container Depot Nairobi.

Additionally Box Back Ltd provides cargo and container damage survey services to safe guard the cargo owners interests. We are a team player that can work readily with other stakeholders for the benefit of our mutual customers.

Customs House Brokerage

We provide assistance and guidance as necessary in the customs clearance process. Timely interventions in unlocking cargo clearance deadlocks and providing alternative solutions are key to saving our customers money and time wastage ,which would otherwise lower their competitiveness. Our team prides itself in good knowledge of the local requirements . This knowledge is made readily available to our customers.

Tally and EDI reporting

This service caters for shipping lines and/or their agents who require timely updates of their container positions upon arrival at Nairobi or Naivasha ICDs. We have tools for generation of the EDI messages in formats suitable to our customers. The tools are easily adaptable to the specific clients requirements. We generate EDI transmissions for full and empty containers.
